Day 2

 With an 80% chance of rain today, we didn’t think we would get much hiking in but decided to give it a good try anyway. As it turned out we went for two good walks. 

We started off the morning on the Lake Lawtonka Green Trail, a moderate hike of about 4 miles.

After lunch we decided, since the rain was holding off, we would go for another walk. This was the Mount Scott Nature Trail, an easy trail of about 3 miles.

Well we got part of it right anyway. We did have cloudy skies all day and a little bit of rain but decided we could have a frizzy hair contest as a result so all is good. 
What an incredible day with amazing friends enjoying each other and God’s glorious creation.

Day 1

  Arrived Medicine Park, OK just before noon and had lunch at The Old Plantation restaurant. Had 3 hours before we could checkin to our lodging so went for a little hike. This is the Orange Loop Trail Walked along the lake.  There were lots of wild flowers blooming.  And a very rocky trail.  Very rickety bridge  Dewberry   Finished the walk and got back to the cabin just in time to check in.  After getting everything unloaded and organized, we drove into Lawton to eat dinner at Thai Bistro. We all enjoyed it.  Looks like lots of rain tomorrow so glad we took a little hike today.

Day 3

  Got up to a rainy day so we spent the morning playing cards.  Our living room Tree huggers at the restaurant After lunch at the Riverside Cafe, we headed to the Mountain Park Aquarium and Natural Sciences Center.
